Is the Deer Lodge Restaurant open on October 31st ? I don't know when the Restaurant closes for the winter!
Open thurs -sun and close nov.24th for season.

No they do not take reservations, it is first come first serve.

Can you make reservations
They do not accept reservations. Its an old school "first come, first served",kinda place. You can show up 30 mins before dinner put your name on the list. Its a bit easier if you go after labor day, Oktoberfest in Helen might give you a longer wait time. I like going in November right before they close for winter.
